All orders should be written or faxed. Orders taken over the phone are deemed correct, as interpreted by our telephonist.

- All orders should be emailed, written, faxed or by post. Orders taken over the phone are deemed correct, as interpreted by our telephonist.
- Products are sold on a supply basis only.
- Electrical goods are supplied with a 90 day warranty from SMP.
- Glass products are supplied free of charge and therefore have no warranty.
- For specialist products drawings, designs or sketches shall be supplied by the customer. The customer should satisfy themselves that these products and the range of products offered by SMP are good for the purpose intended.
- SMP do not undertake site surveys or inspections, maintenance or repairs on site under any circumstances.
- The client shall be responsible for the maintenance ,care and repair of the products from delivery date.
- Goods despatched via a carrier will be in maximum 2.5m sections, unless a prior arrangement has been agreed.
- Goods should be checked upon delivery and be signed for as in good condition only.
- Only responsible persons should sign delivery notes.
- Goods can not be signed for as damaged or unchecked.
- Claims for damage can not be considered after a delivery note has been signed.
- Goods supplied in error or incorrectly from your specified orders must be notified within 24 hours of receipt of goods and should be returned to our works within 7 days of delivery date for a full refund or correction (to be considered and activated as deemed necessary by our inspection department).
- No claims for consequential losses will be considered under any circumstances.
- Claimed defective products should be returned to our factory, carriage paid for our inspection and/or correction.
- In event of goods being found faulty or defective. The goods will be replaced or repaired at SMP’s expense. Carriage or part of shall be refunded.
- Products remain the property of SMP until paid for in full.
